Fraud Warnings

WARNING: Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company or other person files an application for insurance or statement of claims containing any materially false information or conceals, for the purpose of misleading, information concerning any fact material thereto, commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime, and may subject such person to criminal and substantial civil penalties.

D.C. and TN residents only: Warning: It is a crime to provide false or misleading information to an insurer for the purpose of defrauding the insurer or any other person. Penalties include imprisonment and/or fines. In addition, an insurer may deny insurance benefits if false information materially related to a claim was provided by the applicant.

KY residents only: Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company, or other person files an application for insurance containing any materially false information or conceals, for the purpose of misleading, information concerning any fact material thereto commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime.

NM residents only: Any person who knowingly presents a false or fraudulent claim for payment of a loss for benefit or knowingly presents false information in an application for insurance is guilty of a crime and may be subject to civil fines and criminal penalties.

OR residents only: Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud or solicit another to defraud an insurer:
(1) by submitting an application, or
(2) by filing a claim containing a false statement as to any material fact, may be violating state law.

All products and services of American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida and American Security Insurance Company are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable agreements governing their use.

The Terms are to be read by you together with any terms, conditions or disclaimers provided in the pages of the Site. In the event of any conflict, the terms provided in the pages of the Site will govern.

The information, material and content provided in the pages of the Site (the "Information") may be changed at any time without notice. Changes may be made to the Terms at any time without notice by updating this posting. Jurisdiction

The Site is administered by the Bank from its offices in Canada. The Site will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. All disputes, controversies or claims arising out of or in connection with the Site shall be submitted to and be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario. You submit and attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario to finally adjudicate or determine any suit, action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with the Site.
