If you don't require the higher coverage limits offered by the RBC TravelProtector™ Deluxe and RBC TravelProtector™ Preferred plans, and are comfortable with coverage for fewer situations for trip cancellation and interruption, consider RBC TravelProtector™ Basic, which offers the following coverage and benefits:

  • Trip Cancellation (Pre-Departure)(1):
    Up to your trip cost
  • Trip Interruption (Post-Departure):
    Up to 100% of your trip cost
  • Travel Delay (Subsistence Allowance):
    Up to $300
  • Baggage and Personal Effects:
    Up to $500 for loss or damage
  • Baggage Delay:
    Up to $300
  • Emergency Medical and Dental:
    Up to $15,000 for eligible medical expenses and $750 for eligible dental expenses
  • Emergency Medical Transportation
    Up to $50,000
  • Repatriation of Remains or Local Burial
    Up to $15,000
  • Air Flight Accident & Accidental Death & Dismemberment
